Hello! My name is Ruijie (Barry) Zheng. I am the director of finance for the Leaders of Wildlife Conservation. I have had an insatiable passion for wildlife since I was a tender age. It all began when I was introduced to wildlife documentaries and visits to the zoos with my parents. Over the years, I have managed to dedicate my leisure time to spend time in different wildlife sanctuaries and parks where I interact with conservationists on protecting wildlife. Wildlife is a precious gift that God has granted to the planet. Many people think that wildlife species are abundant across the world, but the truth is that the number of species has exponentially reduced over the years and it is undeniable that it will reduce even further if measures are not taken to control the destruction of their habitats. The main factors that have endangered wildlife include illegal poaching, deforestation, as well as pollution. It is important to conserve wildlife as many species work together to stabilize the ecosystem through the natural food chain. The disruption of this natural balance will inevitably lead to natural disasters, famine, or even epidemics like the coronavirus as animals are pushed to take extreme measures. As a result, we are on a mission to support public and private wildlife organizations financially. I have been a marketer and entrepreneur for over five years. Though I have much to learn, in my journey, I have managed to accumulate a strong foundation on the art of marketing, promotion, and communication. It is an important skill that helps me aid our organization during fundraisers to support wildlife hospitals, sanctuaries, and conservation institutions. I work towards acquiring potential sponsors who are also passionate about wildlife to come on board and financially support the firm so that we can offer extensive support to contemporary wildlife crises. Wildlife conservation is a collective measure that will require the input of every member in society—particularly us influential young conservationists. We welcome everyone who is willing to contribute, whether as bloggers or support members, to join this initiative. Let us ensure that our future generations will have the opportunity to enjoy nature as much as we do by taking matters into our own hands!
